Magic

Miss Magic needs a new foster home. She is a lovely 4.5 year old PitX. She weighs about 50 lbs. Magic loves to cuddle and be pet. She is great with all adults and children of all ages. She is crate and house trained.
Here is her bio:
There’s pure magic in Magic’s smile as she perches playfully on the couch in her foster home. The 50-pound white and brindle beauty adores cuddling with her foster mom and is excellent and ever so sweet with her two young grandchildren, thriving on their gentle and respectful companionship. Clearly well trained at one time, Magic remains calm, quiet and well mannered indoors no matter how hectic her surroundings become – including the presence of invited guests and available food. But then she breaks into a happy doggy dance or jumps onto the couch to curl up like a kitty to sleep, and everyone erupts in laughter! Motivated by food and love, she accepts treats very gently, knows “come”, “sit”, “off” and “leave it” and is both crate and housetrained. Once outside, she’s extremely energetic, releasing that energy through long, brisk walks, making her ideal as someone’s jogging or running mate. Now all this magical miss needs is an active and loving home where she can be an only pet complete her education and keep her mentally stimulated and physically satisfied fur-ever.

Please note, that due to her breed, she cannot be fostered in the following locations: Denver, Aurora, Commerce City, Ft Lupton, Lone Tree, or Louisville.

Honeybell & Kady

Honeybell is a sweet, soft kitty girl with a ton of personality.  She can be a bit aloof at first meeting, but reveals her friendly demeanour as soon as she feels at home.  Honeybell has one crumpled ear which doesn’t bother her at all. In fact, we think it just makes her all that much cuter and unique!

Honeybell loves her sister, Kady.  The two girls have been through so much together and thoroughly enjoy one another’s company.  For this reason, we are adopting them out together. Both Kady and Honeybell get along with most other cats and love the dog in their foster home.

Honeybell’s crumpled ear was most likely a congenital birth defect or possibly an old injury.  It is very easily managed with ear drops and occasional cleaning and doesn’t pose any problems for her.

Honeybell is fixed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations.  She is being fostered with Kady in Westminster.

Each girl has mild special needs.  When Kady came into rescue she suffered from triatitis.  Her condition is fully controlled with medication, which she happily takes with treats.  She requires periodic blood work to double check her medication is at an appropriate dose.  Honeybell came to the rescue with a squished ear, most likely from an untreated injury. With ear drops and occasional cleaning, her ear issues are fully controlled.
